Exercise 3

Crux Wall

1. The biggest problem we had with this project was that we don’t have enough footage to tell a complete story so we had to go back and shoot some more. We were struggling a little in the beginning since Rickie and I don’t have a lot of experience with Final Cut Pro but everything worked out really well once we digitalized it.
2. The biggest success we have had was working with the guys who were climbing the Crux Wall. They help us by going through the process of rock climbing.
3. I will actually film the Crux Wall Climbing competition that is coming up very soon for Outdoor Pursuits.
4. The video shows how the rock climbers are struggling in the beginning but they succeed after they were instructed by the instructor.

This was my first time with Final Cut Pro and it was a success because I learned the basics of how to edit using Final Cut Pro. I could definitely improve my editing skills if I play with Final Cut.  There were a lot of background noises so it would have been better if the two groups worked in two different locations. But other than that, everything went very smooth.
